Clothing: Your baby is going to need a lot of clothes. Onesies, rompers, suits, sleepwear, singlets- there’s a lot to shop for. Also, your baby is going to grow pretty fast, so you will need to constantly upgrade your baby’s wardrobe.
Diapers: This is another item you need to stock up on. Even if you use cloth diapers, keep a pack of disposable diapers in hand in case of emergencies or outings.
Medical supplies: It is extremely important to buy medicinal supplies for newborn babies before your baby arrives. You never know when you are going to need a cough and cold medication, fever medicines or stomach ache medicines.
Car seat: You are obviously going to travel with your baby. It is a good idea to invest in baby car seats before your baby comes home. Washable car seats for your baby are your best bet.
Toys: This is one thing you can’t do without. It is toys that help a baby grow and learn. Brightly colored toys are going to open your baby’s eyes to the world for the first time.
Stroller: Make sure you buy a baby stroller in a lightweight, compact and sturdy design. You are going to take your baby out a lot for strolls in parks.
